Envion Group was founded by two people who spent years working inside the asbestos industry—and decided there was a better way to do it. We're not a faceless contractor. We're consultants who genuinely care about getting it right for you.

Joseph Bell and Ben Simpson both started their careers as trainee asbestos surveyors at large, nationwide consultancies. Over more than 25 years combined, they worked their way up through the industry, gaining hands-on experience across every type of survey, removal project, and compliance challenge you can imagine.

But over time, they noticed a troubling pattern. The industry they'd built their careers in was drifting — away from genuine compliance, away from real client-focused advice, and towards squeezing as much revenue as possible from customers who didn't always know what they needed or why.

"We kept seeing clients being oversold services they didn't need, or given advice that served the contractor rather than the person paying the bill. We knew there was a better way — so we built it."

Envion Group was founded on a simple belief: that clients deserve honest advice, transparent pricing, and surveyors who treat every job — whether a single domestic property or a large commercial contract — with the same level of care and integrity.

Joseph Bell

Co-founder & Director

Joseph started out as a trainee asbestos surveyor and has been in the industry over ten years. He quickly gained a reputation for having a keen eye for detail and has been involved in extensive and complex asbestos surveys and asbestos removal projects. At the heart of how Envion works is his hands-on style and dedication to being honest with clients.

Ben Simpson

Co-founder & Director

Ben's background spans nationwide asbestos consultancy work across both commercial and residential sectors. He brings deep technical knowledge and a no-nonsense attitude to compliance — making sure every client gets advice that genuinely serves their interests.
